Helping Leaders Thrive

Leader Care Network exists to help leaders grow in confidence and clarity within their God-given spheres of influence—so that people, places, and generations are transformed.

About Me

I'm Hans Googer (yes, sort of like the guy in Die Hard). I started Leader Care Network after years of considering how I could expand the way I can care for others and miles of walking and praying.I have been a leader in large and small church organizations for over seventeen years. During that time, I've had to develop the skills necessary to build trust, develop others, lead with confidence, and communicate effectively.I earned a PhD in Leadership from Southern Seminary—with a unique research interest in succession strategies. I've also served in higher education, training masters-level ministry leaders to better manage their faith and their life.I write on life and leadership on my Substack. Please subscribe for regular content on how these two spheres build off of each other. In addition to formal education, I'm a Clarity House Guide, supporting churches and leaders in developing strategic plans rooted in conviction. I am also close to finishing my ACC credential through the International Coaching Federation. It’s been a joy to serve a wide range of leaders—including CEOs, engineers, small business owners, regional managers, QHSE professionals, VPs, and store GMs—across industries such as tech startups, logistics, oil and gas, IT security, family entertainment centers, transportation equipment, and roofing.I've been married to Courtney for over twenty years. She often helps me in this work. Together, we have three sons, and they are where we find some of our greatest joys.

How I Coach

  • Whole Person: I'm interested in your life inside and outside of the job.

  • No Clock: While we have scheduled times, my commitment is to you, not the clock. I want clients to feel like I'm part of the team from day one.

  • High Expectations: Growth takes a high commitment. We will work together to push beyond your comfort zone.

  • Prayerful Engagement: What we are working on takes more than just us. I'll pray for this engagement every step of the way. (Many of my clients don't share my Christian faith, but I will always pray for those I'm serving.)

How We Serve

We serve leaders and their organizations by offering:

  • Coaching: Our personalized coaching is designed to help you discover and work toward your goals. We work with you regardless of your seat in the organization.

  • Training: We help teams build trust—the foundation of every thriving organization—and get results. Through assessments and tailored training, we guide your team in developing the habits that drive long-term effectiveness. This works well when the leader gets ongoing coaching, the team meets with me together, and teammates get individual attention (less frequently). Reach out for a conversation.

  • Cohorts: Join a small group of 4–8 leaders from diverse industries for guided conversations, peer learning, and expert coaching. These cohorts are a space to troubleshoot real challenges and gain practical tools for growth.

Our Ideal Client

  • A person of faith, living for something greater than him or herself.

  • A person of humility, who never thinks he or she is the best at something and genuinely views others as more significant than him or herself.

  • A person of integrity, who is willing to do hard things because they are the right things.

  • Person of drive, who desires growth and improvement in all of life (not just business) and seeks to expand his or her outlook.

  • Person of joy, because we have to like being around you.
